Born in Southport, Merseyside and educated in Colchester, Essex, England’s oldest recorded town, Chris is a Certified Engineer (ONC).
In 1963, Chris was accepted into London’s Metropolitan Police, and spent the next 15 months as a “Bobby” on the beat” of some of the roughest districts in the East-end of London. He later joined the CID as a Detective and worked with the Regional Crime Squad and Company Fraud Squad.
After leaving the Police with an exemplary record of service, he quickly worked his way through the Sales and Marketing management of a number of Blue Chip fast moving consumer goods companies.
In 1979, Chris formed his own Company, Greaseaters Limited, who went on to win the “Company-of-the-Year” Award put forward by the Confederation of British Industry and Barclay’s Bank, and promoted by the prestigious and nationally televised BBC2 “Money Programme” for the fastest-expanding and most-progressive small business in the U.K.
Following the sale of the company to the publically-quoted Sketchley Corporation, Chris formed the Protective Clothing Distributors Association and was appointed Director General, where his duties sent him on a three-year sourcing expedition throughout the whole of the Pacific Rim and Europe.
For the last 25 years Chris has been involved in the Water Treatment Industry, as a technical and design consultant, including consultant-design projects for Whirlpool, KitchenAid and other major corporations in Europe, Israel and North America.
In the Spring of 2007, Chris moved to La Paz, BCS, where he quickly recognized the need for Water Treatment expertise and formed H2O Profesionales Internacionales, S.A. de C.V., with his wife Alicia.
The expertise of Chris and the Company was quickly recognized by the Desalination unit of Severn Trent Services who appointed the Company as their Authorized Sales and Service Center.
